This free printable isometric graph paper 11x17 gives you a large tabloid-size sheet covered in a 1/4 inch triangle grid. The lines run vertically and at 30 degrees left and right, so you can draw cubes, buildings and objects in 3D without measuring angles.

What’s Included
- Page 1: isometric grid on 11 x 17 inch (tabloid or ledger) paper.
- Page 2: the same grid on 8.5 x 11 inch US Letter paper, for printers that cannot take tabloid sheets.
- Every triangle side is 1/4 inch, and the lines are light gray so your drawing stands out.
How Isometric Paper Works
In an isometric drawing, the three edges of a cube are drawn along three directions: straight up, 30 degrees to the left and 30 degrees to the right. The grid already has lines in all three directions. To draw a cube, follow one vertical line and two slanted lines from the same point, then close the shape.
What to Draw on Isometric Graph Paper
- Technical drawing: product sketches, furniture and machine parts for design classes.
- Architecture: room layouts, buildings and city blocks seen from above.
- Game design: isometric maps for tabletop games and pixel art.
- Math: volume and surface area lessons with stacked cubes.
- Crafts: 60-degree quilt and tile patterns such as tumbling blocks.
Printing an 11x17 Page
Choose tabloid, ledger or 11 x 17 paper in your printer settings and print at 100% scale. Many office printers and copy shops print this size. If your printer only takes Letter paper, use page 2. Free for personal and classroom use.
