These free printable behavior charts for kids help children see their progress and celebrate good choices. Kids color a star for each part of the day that goes well, which makes expectations clear and gives you a simple way to praise them.

Two Behavior Charts Included
| Chart | Layout | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly behavior chart | Morning, afternoon and evening stars for Monday to Sunday, a weekly goal, a reward box and a notes box | Working on one goal all week |
| Daily behavior chart | 5 common goals plus one blank goal, with stars for morning, afternoon and evening | Several goals at once, or a fresh start every day |
The daily chart lists goals such as “Listened the first time”, “Used kind words” and “Kept hands to myself”. The blank row is for a goal of your own.
How to Use a Behavior Chart
- Pick one or two clear goals. “Get ready for school on time” works better than “be good”.
- Agree on the reward before you start, and write it in the reward box.
- Color stars right away. Kids connect the star with the behavior when it happens soon after.
- Review the chart together at the end of the day or week.
- Change the goal once it becomes a habit, so the chart stays interesting.
Ideas for Rewards
- Choosing the family dinner or movie.
- An extra bedtime story or 15 more minutes of play.
- A trip to the park or library.
- A small sticker or treat for each full row of stars.
Using the Charts at School
Teachers can use the weekly chart for a single student goal and send it home on Fridays. The notes box gives parents and teachers a place to share how the week went.
